Congratulations to the 2009 Texas Tar Wars Poster Contest winner, Yenika Bautista of Houston, Texas, a fourth grader at McNamara Elementary. Bautista’s poster, "The Key To A Beautiful World Is A Tabacco Free World" was selected for the grand prize from many entries by a panel of TAFP members. Her message reinforces the anti-smoking mission supported by Tar Wars and the Academy.

The goal of PRC 6 is to increase the effectiveness and visibility of prevention education materials and resources, within the region through information dissemination, community education, identification of community resources and to coordinate minors and tobacco strategies within the state. Each PRC in the State of Texas serves as a regional prevention materials clearinghouse.
